I work with people who are experiencing stress, anxiety, irrational fears, difficulty letting go, emotional exhaustion or a feeling of being cut off from themselves. My approach is based on polyvagal theory, working with parts inspired by IFS (Internal Family Systems) and Somatic Experiencing to help bring safety back into the body, release stuck emotions and loosen deep tensions that are activated in many situations that life can bring. Helping you find the ability to deal with what is happening is what I offer.
It is not just about understanding what is happening, but more importantly about feeling and experimenting with resources so that the body can gradually break out of blocking and survivalist states.
During the session, we explore the feelings and sensations from a safe space.
